Static and Motion, 2012

In Static and Motion, I find and follow the lines of nature. When I choose to deviate, it's my way of combining my feelings—expressed as a path of motion—with what appears to be momentarily static. The nature I shoot is anything but static, though. It may move slowly by itself or swiftly with the wind. I'm trying to find a middle ground where I can bring the two together.

Every shot is a single exposure, with no Photoshop used except to remove dust spots and noise.

The longer exposures bring out the vivid colours. In an interesting twist, the added time lapse can bring life and strong hues back to dying foliage.
